Pride of Britain awards to recognise fundraisers
This year’s Daily Mirror Pride of Britain Awards, in association with TSB, are calling for nominations, with two fundraising awards to be won.
The awards, which launched in 2000, celebrate the nation’s ‘unsung heroes’, as nominated by members of the public. There are seven categories, including ITV Fundraiser of the Year, ‘for tireless and inspirational charity fundraising’, aged 16 and over, and Good Morning Britain Young Fundraiser of the Year, which rewards a young person aged 15 and under for ‘inspirational charity work’.
The awards also include the TSB Community Partner Award, for an individual or group of people who have worked together in partnership as a force for good in their local community, improving the lives of people around them.
Nominations can be made online at www.prideofbritain.com/nominate, or by picking up a form from a TSB branch.
