Free digital marketing workshop for charities at Brighton Fringe

Melanie May | 6 April 2016 | News

Charities have the opportunity to attend a free digital marketing workshop at this year’s Brighton Fringe Festival.
Organised by local digital marketing agency Search Seven in partnership with Google, the workshop takes place on Friday 6th May 2016, from 11am – 5pm, at the Republic venue on Brighton beach.
The overall aim of the event is to provide charities with insight into how they can improve their online exposure, increase engagement, and boost donations. The workshop will cover topics including search marketing, website design and how to convert site visitors into customers. Co-host Google will discuss topics including the benefits of paid media.
Gavin Wills, Search Seven founder said:

“The workshop will cover how to formulate a strategic, targeted campaign via paid media, in addition to improving a charity website and how to encourage site visitors to successfully engage with the brand. If the site does a great job in engaging the visitor, then the charity benefits through the form of donations, support, email sign ups and so forth. It’s a great opportunity to gain exclusive advice from experts in the field and expand the charity brand.”

For more information or to register interest in attending, charities should contact Gavin Wills at in**@se*********.uk or reserve tickets via the Search Seven website.
Since its launch in November 2011, Search Seven has helped to raise over £15k for local charities, with most of the donations coming from its annual flagship event ‘The S7 Ted’s Trophy’ which has seen a charity football match and a charity golf day, lead to over £8k being raised for Brighton’s Trevor Mann Baby Unit. The agency has also pledged to donate up to 7% of its profits to good causes each year.
