Harry Styles’s mum raises funds for cancer charity

Melanie May | 26 February 2016 | News

Singer Harry Styles’s mum Anne Twist is raising money for Action Against Cancer by taking part in a 5K walk in Knowsley Safari Park on 15th May.
The morning of her first tweet about the event with a link to her BT MyDonate profile resulted in over 3,000 likes and almost 1.500 re-tweets, raising hundreds of pounds the same day, and almost doubling her fundraising target of £1,000 in just two days.
Action Against Cancer funds the development of cures for cancer at Imperial College, London, led by oncologist Professor Justin Stebbing. The AAC 5K Challenge is the charity’s first ever challenge event and celebrates five years of supporting Professor Stebbing’s research. Participants can run or walk the course, which takes place in the grounds of Knowsley Hall in Merseyside.
