Ododow map brings charities into one searchable location

An interactive map has launched that aims to do for charities what Google Maps does for businesses.
Ododow has been created to bring the UK’s charities, community projects, not-for-profit organisations and community interest companies (CICs) into one searchable online location.
Currently in Beta version, Ododow is a free service that aims to enable charities and other non-profit projects and organisations to improve their visibility, connect with each other, attract volunteers, and find support from local businesses, as well as enable people to find the help they need, or to volunteer, based on their location and requirements.
Ododow has been created by If Everyone Cares, and is asking charities, non-profits, and community projects to add themselves to the map via the Ododow site.
CEO and founder Jaki Bent said: “Ododow™ is more than a piece of technology, it is about empowering individuals and strengthening communities – one click at a time. It is also about common sense – why doesn’t it exist already?”
