PR agency offers one day’s work to three charities for free
RTS Media, based in the North West of England, is offering three full days of its PR, marketing and social media services for free to charities with a story to tell. The pro bono offer is designed to help charities get more coverage.
Director Christina Savage explains:
“Large charities tend to get the majority of the column inches and the best Google ranks because, quite simply, they have the biggest budgets. But some of the best stories and most important causes come from the most unexpected places and we want to make sure they are seen and heard too. So for the next three months, we will be giving away a day’s free work each month to the most interesting pitch that comes our way.”
RTS Media’s clients include commercial brands such as AON and national law firm, Simpson Millar LLP, and it also works with regional charities such as Yorkshire Cat Rescue.
Pauline Wright, founder of St Francis Rescue, which is one of RTS Media’s charity clients, said:

“We were struggling with funding and finding enough volunteers. In just a week, the RTS Media team had secured a front page story for us along with local radio interviews which ran every hour for a full day. This widespread media coverage promoted literally dozens of calls from locals offering to help.”
