World Vision hires Porter Novelli

International humanitarian agency World Vision has hired Porter Novelli to provide PR support in the UK.
The charity, which works to tackle child poverty in 100 countries, has brought in Porter Novelli on a new brief, which brings together its fundraising and advocacy/campaigning activities in the UK for the first time.
Porter Novelli starts work at the beginning of April. The company’s UK Associate Director, Helen Ross, said: “Our work will be media relations driven with a strong digital strategy to raise awareness of World Vision’s great work with a special emphasis on child sponsorship”.
World Vision UK continues to work with agency Kazoo Communications on youth projects such as the recent highly successful 24-hour famine featuring celebrities such as Fearne Cotton, Liz McClarnon, Georgia Groome and Eleanor Tomlinson.
