Here are some of the latest charity of the year and other corporate fundraising partnerships.

1. First Utility and NSPCC

Independent gas and electricity supplier First Utility expects its May fundraising campaign for the NSPCC to raise more than £100,000.
During the month, First Utility pledged to donate £2 a month for two years on behalf of every new customer that switched gas and electricity.
The funds raised are part of an ongoing two year partnership with children’s charity the NSPCC, which aims to raise a total of £250,000 to support the charity’s work protecting children and preventing abuse.

2. Asda Foundation

Asda Foundation has announced how much it has given to charities in the past month.

3. Keyrus and British Heart Foundation

Data intelligence company Keyrus has received the Qlik Corporate Social Responsibility Partner of the Year Award. The award was presented to Keyrus’s UK and US subsidiary BIPB.
The award recognised BIPB Group’s commitment to using Qlik products “to make the world a better place”, and came with a $1,000 donation to make to a charity of the winner’s choice. In fact, the Keyrus Group matched that sum, so $2,000 was split between the British Heart Foundation and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
The Keyrus Group recently released a Fundraising Analysis dashboard in Qlik® Sense on QlikMarket intended for non-profits. It tracks KPIs such as new and lost donors by type and geographical location, and includes financial analysis of revenues versus expenses. Organisations can download it and plug their data into the accompanying Excel template to load into Qlik Sense, populating the Fundraising Analysis dashboard with custom data for self-service data discovery and analysis.

4. Good Energy and Centre for Alternative Technology

100% renewable electricity supplier Good Energy has sponsored a new electric vehicle at the Centre for Alternative Technology. Nicknamed ‘Eve’, the  Aixam Mega Multitruck is a versatile light commercial vehicle that is designed for short delivery missions, so is “perfect for supporting the work of CAT in the local area”.
The company has supported CAT for 10 years. For example, for every individual switching to Good Energy, the company will donate £30 to CAT.

5. Bulgari and Save the Children

The partnership between jewellers Bulgari and Save the Children has now raised more than £22 million and helped improve the lives of 700,000 children in 25 countries.
A silver and ceramic ring and pendant, specially commissioned for Save the Children and inspired by the B.zero1 range of jewellery launched in 2010, retails at £360 with a £60 donation to Save the Children.
