Tech company to win a hackathon for social good

Howard Lake | 12 June 2015 | News

Technology volunteering platform #charity is offering to run a hackathon for social good for a tech company that yields the largest number of technology professionals who sign up to help charities.
Since its launch in April, #charity has attracted professionals from more than 800 companies including PayPal, Ustream, Airbnb and Prezi.
Over the next 30 days #charity is running a competition to find which existing volunteer can recruit the most of her or his colleagues to the platform. The winner will receive “a free and fully organised hackathon for good provided by #charity staff for your whole company”.
You can see the current top 20 company leaderboard on #charity.
