DonorVoice offers white paper and webinar on reducing donor churn

Experience and relationship company DonorVoice has published white paper with advice on ‘donor churn’ or the loss of donors, requiring charities to find new ones to replace them simply to maintain income.
The paper, ‘How Non-Profits can stop churn before it starts’, is available as a free download, and you can view it on Slideshare:

How nonprofits can stop donor churn before it starts from DonorVoice

It asks – why do donors leave? And what can charities do to reduce that likelihood?
It presents four issues “that get in the way of fixing donor churn”. These include focusing too much on transactional data and having to guess what donors think, and treating donor support as an additional extra and a cost burden.
It reviews each of these challenges and offers approaches to how they might be overcome.
DonorVoice was founded by Roger M Craver, who earlier this year published Retention Fundraising: The new art and science of keeping your donors for life.
The company is also running a webinar to support the whitepaper, taking place on 3 December.
