eBay for Charity offers £12k in prizes in My Favourite Charity competition

eBay for Charity is once again running its annual My Favourite Charity campaign, offering prizes totalling £12,000 for the winning charities.
Throughout November and December charities are invited to encourage their supporters to make their charity a favourite on eBay for Charity. At the end of December, the three charities with the largest number of new favourites will win grants from the PayPal Giving Fund:
First place: £7,000

Second place: £3,000
Third place: £2,000
You can follow your charity’s progress throughout the campaign via a leaderboard. Soi Dog UK, last year’s winners, are already off to a very good start.
Why favourite charity?
The My Favourite Charity campaign offers three benefits.
1. The cash prizes for charities.
2. Participating supporters are entered into a draw to win one of 10 prizes of £250 each.
3. eBay knows that eBay users with a favourite charity are 20 times more likely to donate when they buy or sell. So generating more favourites is a good way to boost your eBay for Charity fundraising on an ongoing basis.
The competition is open to all charities with a valid PayPal Giving Fund account.
