The London Book Fair (LBF) is looking for its Charity of the Year 2015. It is inviting applications from publishing-related charities only.
The selected charity will be supported by the London Book Fair at the Fair and afterwards. It will receive support at the Fair, including a stand in the charities pavilion. It will also benefit from access to the international publishing community, together with help in marketing, PR and social media.
The London Book Fair is a global marketplace for rights negotiation and the sale and distribution of content across print, audio, TV, film and digital channels. It will take place from 14-16 April 2015 at Olympia in London.

Last year’s charity of the year

Last year the London Book Fair Charity of the Year 2014 was Book Aid International.
Alison Hubert, Director of Book Aid International said:

“In the year of our 60th anniversary, being The London Book Fair Charity of the Year in 2014 was a wonderful opportunity. The exposure that the partnership with LBF gave us was invaluable for building and strengthening relationships with the publishing sector. Thanks to UK publishers, this year we hope to be able to send libraries in Africa close to one million new, relevant books.”
