Blackbaud is adding cloud-based versions of its products The Raiser’s Edge and Financial Edge. Raiser’s Edge NXT and Financial Edge NXTare both designed to help charities save money by reducing the need to host data and programs on their own IT equipment, and to offer flexibility of access.
Both products also come with a new user interface.
The NXT line of products are additional to Blackbaud’s fundraising, relationship management and financial software and services portfolio. The company has committed to continue supporting its flagship solutions The Raiser’s Edge and The Financial Edge. Indeed, it has pledged that it will deliver a set of enhancements for both solutions to customers in the Autumn.
Further details will be announced at its bbcon 2014 event in Nashville in October.
Blackbaud President and CEO Mike Gianoni said:

“We’re excited to offer Raiser’s Edge NXT and Financial Edge NXT to our not-for-profit customers. Not only will not-for-profits experience all the benefits of the cloud—such as a lower total cost of ownership and reduced administrative overhead—they will also benefit from an unparalleled user experience, and powerful built-in tools that help them expand the reach of their missions while improving organisational efficacy.”

Blackbaud already offers a cloud-based fundraising solution for smaller charities in the form of eTapestry®.
