Charity tax body announces annual conference
The Irish Charities Tax Reform Group (ICTR) will hold its annual conference, titled ‘Irish Charities – Tomorrow’s World,’ on 7 November at the Ashling Hotel in Dublin.
This year’s speakers will include:
- Caitriona Fottrell – Chair, ICTR
- Susan Mitchell – Health Correspondent, Sunday Business Post
- Geraldine Kennedy – Former Editor, The Irish Times
- Joe Saxton – Founder, nfpSynergy
- Sheila Nordon – Executive Director, ICTR
- Úna Ní Dhubhghaill – Dept. Justice & Equality
ICTR represents over 150 member organisations and was established to lobby for changes in the tax system to make it more beneficial for philanthropy.
ICTR also plays an active role on behalf of charities in relation to regulation and has been closely involved at all stages of the development of the Charities Act 2009 and its subsequent implementation.
Tickets will cost €90 for members and €150 for non members.
