Local advertising tool added to Google Grants for UK charities

Howard Lake | 6 September 2013 | News

UK charities and not-for-profit organisations that receive Google grants can now use AdWords Express to help them advertise online in their local area.
Since 2011, AdWords Express has offered commercial advertisers a simple and low-maintenance tool to reach a local audience. Now UK charities can use it to communicate with people within a 15 to 40 mile radius of their office.
Indeed, AdWords Express is now available for all organisations signed up to receive Google Grants in the US, UK, Canada and Australia.
AdWords Express should be particularly attractive to those charities that don’t have enough time to manage and craft their AdWords campaigns, as it automatically optimises ads for the charity. Charities with a Google Grants account can sign up for AdWords Express now.
