Mentoring scheme for London fundraisers opens for applications

The London regional group of the Institute of Fundraising has opened its mentoring scheme again and is looking for both mentors and mentees to take part.

It is hoping to involve up to 28 pairs in the scheme. Based on the experience of the programme in previous years, there is a particular need for mentors.

How to take part

The scheme is open to Institute members who live or work in London. If you wish to take part you will need to attend one day of matching on 16 April 2013. Would-be mentors will also need to commit to one day of training on 23 or 24 April.

The fee for mentees, £200, has not increased since last year. It is payable before matching.

There is no fee for being a mentor. Mentees are expected to travel to meet their mentor.

The deadline for applications is 2 April 2013.
