Jenna Durdle, Corporate Fundraiser at St Catherine’s Hospice, who visited the site to accept the cheque said, “Our nurses will be providing care for around 1,600 local people this year – at our hospice in Crawley and in patients’ own homes. It was great to meet the staff at UK Mail and thank them in person for their generosity. With only 30% of our costs funded by the NHS we rely on donations like this to make our work possible.”

Nigel Powell, Site Manager for the Crawley depot was also on hand to present the cheque and said, “To get the opportunity to give to others in the local community was rewarding and something the team wanted to do. A great Christmas feeling of helping others!”

Parcel Pete the brand mascot for UK Mail’s new customer facing next day collection and delivery service ipostparcels.com, presented the cheque to Jenna Durdle from St Catherine’s Hospice at the new UK Mail Crawley Depot.
