Community Foundation in Ireland offers equipment grants

The Community Foundation in Ireland is offering small grants for equipment.

This is the first time that the Foundation has provided funding for equipment and the Foundation says that it recognises that organisations need new equipment as well as funding for running costs.

Grants will be in the range of €1,000 to €2,000. Groups can apply for:

Getting Started with TikTok: An Introduction to Fundraising & Supporter Engagement

• Small equipment for use by service users such as educational toys, games and resources

• Equipment for use by active age groups engaged in physical and social activities

• Materials for therapeutic activities

• Equipment which will help establish a service such as setting up care and repair programmes, community playgroups etc

The grant scheme will not provide funding for administrative equipment such as computers, laptops, IT products, office furniture, promotional or display material.

The deadline for applications is 31 January 2013.
