NCVO offers £1000 prize in Crowdfunding Challenge 2012

NCVO is inviting 10 UK charities or voluntary organisations to take part in its Crowdfunding challenge to raise money for their organisations. It is offering a £1,000 prize to the organisation that raises the most.
The competition is open to large and small organisations that are “willing to spend some time between September and November trying out some new things”.
NCVO will offer some pro bono support, as will crowdfunding platform Buzzbnk and fundraising management and systems company Sho-Net.
As well as the £1000 prize, the winner will also win a place at NCVO’s Sustainable Funding Conference on 28 November.
The Crowdfunding Challenge is sponsored by CAN Impact.
The deadline for applications to take part is 31 August 2012.
