Casual footwear company Crocs is donating up to 20,120 to charities via In Kind Direct to celebrate its 10th anniversary. The company’s Crocs Cares programme will donate a pair of shoes for very email sign-up via their website or Facebook page.
The target total is based on 2012 x 10. The company’s site is showing a gold clog totaliser to report how the campaign is progressing.
In Kind Direct redistributes surplus goods from manufacturers and retailers to UK charities working at home and abroad.
Michael Marshall-Clarke, Crocs Europe Marketing Director, said: “We’re really excited to join forces with In Kind Direct, as it was important for us to select a local charity partner to mark the re-launch of our Crocs Cares programme in Europe. Globally, Crocs Cares has donated over three million pairs of shoes since 2007 and we very much hope that we will reach our goal of donating 20,120 pairs of shoes as part of our 10th anniversary celebrations”.
