IoF East Anglia group introduces awards for best fundraising

The East Anglia regional group of the Institute of Fundraising is to run its own awards ceremony for the first time, “celebrating our Members’ good practice and regional excellence”.
Sponsored by Harlequin Software, the awards consist of four categories:
• Best volunteer fundraiser
• Best full time fundraiser
• Best grant giver
• Best corporate donor
IoF members in East Anglia can nominate individuals and organisations by send a 250-word report explaining why the nominee deserves the award.
A panel of three judges will make the final decision on winners, who will be announced at the regional conference on 8 November 2012.
Nominations should be sent by 30 September 2012 to the group’s Chair, Mary Atkins.
