Sport Relief 2008

Sport Relief has so far raised £7.9 million via £1, £5 and £10 mobile donations, a record amount for the biannual campaign. In line with previous years, Sport Relief has received 100% of the value of SMS donations made by the public thanks to agreements with the mobile network operators.

Helen Puddefoot , Head of Campaign Management at Sport Relief said: “2012 has been a record year for mobile donations for Sport Relief, seeing the donation amount from SMS more than double since 2010, clearly demonstrating a huge appetite for SMS donations”.
