Hospice NI appoints new head of fundraising

Northern Ireland Hospice Care, Northern Ireland’s biggest fundraising charity, has appointed Siofra Healy as their new director of income generation, PR and marketing.
Siofra replaces Ina Henry who worked in and led the charity’s fundraising department for 29 years. Siofra has worked for the Hospice for the last 10 years. Prior to that she worked in the Princes Trust for three years and before that in the fundraising department of the Simon Community Northern Ireland for four years.
The Hospice currently receives some £3.5 million of statutory funding which equates to around 40% of the charity’s total annual costs, leaving a fundraising target of £5 million annually.
