Ulster Garden Villages appoints new director

Mrs Martie Boyd MBE has stepped down as executive director of Northern Ireland’s largest independent charitable trust, Ulster Garden Villages (UGV).

The new executive director is Mrs Valerie Ingram who joins UGV from Young Enterprise Northern Ireland. Martie Boyd will remain with UGV as a trustee.

In the past, UGV has provided grants for Northern Ireland causes ranging from several thousand pounds up to £1 million.

UGV’s areas of giving are health, disadvantaged sections of society, young people, culture and heritage and environment.
