Ted Hart to be CEO of Charities Aid Foundation of America

Online fundraising pioneer Ted Hart is to join Charities Aid Foundation of America as Chief Executive Officer at the beginning of March. The author and consultant is founder of the international ePhilanthropy Foundation and host of the Nonprofit Coach with Ted Hart radio show.
The Foundation connects American donors with international nonprofits of their choice by providing expert knowledge and due diligence, and by delivering personalised giving solutions. It distributes more than $100 million in donor funds to over 2,500 foreign nonprofit organisations in more than 76 countries and has a close working relationship with the CAF (Charities Aid Foundation) International Network. It offers a range of products to individual, corporate and foundation donors including Donor Advised Gifts, Donor Advised Funds, Matching Donor Advised Funds, Designated Funds, ‘Friends of’ Charity Funds and international legacies.
Hart, who has written and edited books including People to People Fundraising and Internet Management for Nonprofits, said: “By combining the talents of those already working at Charities Aid Foundation of America with my own experience, I’m confident we will move the cause of international philanthropy forward together, making cross-border philanthropy more accessible, efficient and prominent in the United States.”
