Three new trustees at Charities Aid Foundation

The Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) has announced three new appointments to its board of trustees.

Sue Ashtiany is an employment and discrimination lawyer at Nabarro LLP who has also held a number of non-executive posts including seven years as a commissioner at what was then the Equal Opportunities Commission and six years as a non- executive director and member of the Audit Committee of Channel 4 corporation.

Dominic Casserley is managing partner for the UK and Ireland of the international management consulting firm McKinsey & Company. He is currently chair of trustees of Action on Addiction and sits on the board of the Donmar Theatre.

Jenny Watson has wide experience of public bodies and charities and is currently chair of the Electoral Commission, a board member of the Audit Commission and a charity trustee.

She is currently a non-executive director of WRAP which encourages companies and consumers to recycle and is a trustee of the Money Advice Trust which runs National and Business Debtline.

The three new appointments will replace Sir John Stuttard and Peter Berry CMG who retire after many years of service as CAF Trustees and Michael Lake CBE, who is leaving on becoming Director General of the ESU.
