Software provider Blackbaud Europe Ltd have been announced as the lead sponsor for the Institute of Fundraising’s Scottish Conference, which will be held in Glasgow next month. The company’s Blackbaud eTapestry web-based fundraising solution will be the key brand featured at the annual event. Institute of Fundraising (Scotland) members will be offered a discounted rate on the system.
Robert McAllen, Blackbaud’s European Product Manager, said: “Blackbaud eTapestry is already well used in Scotland. It’s a cost effective, affordable solution for small to medium-sized charities that want to access their donor records online, so it’s particularly appropriate to the Scottish marketplace”.
The Scottish Fundraising Conference is the second biggest gathering of fundraisers in the UK, after the IoF National Convention. Over 300 delegates from 160 charities will attend this year to take part in 40 workshops and plenaries.
The event takes place on 25 and 26 October 2011. It includes the presentation of the 2011 Scottish Fundraising Awards.
Other sponsors, including Relationship the THINK Foundation, Services to Fundraising, Rapidata, and the PFRA are contributing to the conference and award ceremony.
