Bottled water brand Belu has pledged to raise at least £300,000 for international charity WaterAid over the next three years.
Launched as a social enterprise in 2004, Belu has always supported clean water projects. From today WaterAid will be its exclusive charity partner. Belu is sold at a number of UK restaurants including Cafe Rouge and Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen.
Each bottle of Belu water will now feature the fundraising commitment on its label.
Karen Lynch, Belu’s Managing Director said: “Belu has enjoyed significant growth in sales and the business is now able distribute much larger sums to clean water projects. We are therefore delighted to enter into this partnership with WaterAid which will ensure that those monies have the greatest impact in the areas of greatest need”.
