Chapel & York creates free database of grantmakers around the world

International grants specialists Chapel & York today launch Grantmakers Online, a free resource listing over 6,000 grantmakers around the world who publish in English and who make grants nationally or internationally.
Since 1997, Chapel & York’s clients have raised over $616 million for organizations and projects around the world.
The site includes social features designed to make it more than simply a database. Users can add details of new grantmakers known to them which are not listed on the database; amend existing grantmaker records in the light of their own experiences; post comments and ask questions of their peers: and share experience across the world of fundraisers.
Chapel & York also hope that grantmakers themselves will use the site as a shop window for their services, updating their own entries and answering questions posted by fundraisers.
