Third Sector seeks entries for Excellence Awards 2011

Howard Lake | 21 March 2011 | News

Third Sector magazine is inviting entries to its 2011 Excellence Awards. Now in their seventh year, the awards are designed “to recognise and celebrate the work of the sector” by rewarding the talent, innovation and success of not-for-profit organisations.
All UK-based voluntary organisations, whether registered charities, not-for-profit organisations, social enterprises or campaigning groups, are eligible to enter. Agencies can enter on behalf of their voluntary organisation clients but only with that organisation’s permission.
The 24 ward categories include annual report, brand development, use of digital media, and four fundraising-specific awards: direct marketing campaign, fundraising event, fundraising team, and innovation in fundraising. There are other categories, however, of interest to some fundraisers, including charity trading, social enterprise, and corporate partnership.
Entries must relate to work carried out during the period 1 June 2010 to 31 May 2011.
The closing date for entries if 5 May 2011.
