Rank Group renews its support for Marie Curie Cancer Care for another year

The Rank Group Plc has chosen to extend its partnership with Marie Curie Cancer Care for another year having reached its target this year of raising £200,000 two months early. The total already stands at £270,000.
The Rank Group owns Mecca Bingo, G and Grosvenor Casinos, and Rank Interactive. Its staff (or ‘team members’) have raised the money in a number of different ways; from holding in-club events for customers such as Blooming Great Tea Parties, book sales and fashion shows; to taking on personal challenges such as cycle rides, sky dives and even playing a game of High Stakes Poker at the top of Mount Snowdon.
Fabian French, Director of Fundraising for Marie Curie Cancer Care said: “Rank Group team members and customers have done a sterling job , already reaching their fundraising target for the year in just 10 months. They should be proud to know that the funds raised to date will help the charity provide 12,500 hours of Marie Curie nursing care”.
