Tony Elischer to speak at IoF London Conference

Tony Elischer, Managing Director of THINK Consulting Solutions and Jo Swinhoe from the Alzheimer’s Society, will be the plenary speakers at The Institute of Fundraising London Region’s two day Conference and Exhibition later this month.
The conference takes place on 30 November and 1 December 2010, and is being put on by the members of the Institute of Fundraising’s London Region group, one of a national network of groups of Institute members.
Elischer, who also gave the opening plenary at least month’s International Fundraising Congress in Holland, will be presenting the plenary session on day one on the subject of ‘The Future’.

He will offer a change to “reflect, be amazed, challenged and delighted by some of the trends that are shaping the way people live, think and give”. With his hallmark focus on transformation, positive thinking and imagination, he will present a dynamic showcase of trends, observations and predictions “that could be the key to your future success”.
On day two Jo Swinhoe will open the day with her presentation ‘Fundraising – the lifeblood of your organisation’. She will argue that, for an organisation to be successful in today’s challenging climate, it needs to have fundraising running through its veins. Which means that fundraisers need to motivate others in their organisation to consider fundraising and donors in all aspects of the organisation’s work.
Swinhoe will share some of the secrets of her success at the Alzheimer’s Society over the last five years during which the charity has seen substantial income growth.
A one-day pass costs £80 and a two-day pass £160 for Institute members, and there is a discount for small charities. Entry to the exhibition only is free, but you need to register for that too.
