Matthew Sherrington is new MD of The Good Agency

Matthew Sherrington has been appointed as Managing Director at charity and not-for-profit communications specialists The Good Agency. Co-founder and previous MD Iain Campbell takes on the role of Chief Operating Officer.
Sherrington joined The Good Agency in January as a Strategy Director after 20 years in the voluntary sector in fundraising and communications roles. Before his role as Director of Fundraising and Communication at EveryChild, he had spend 14 years with Oxfam in a range of communications, campaigns and fundraising roles.
He is joined in the management team by Louisa McGinn, appointed to a new Client Services Director role, and Reuben Turner, who now manages an integrated Creative and Digital team. They join Strategy and Planning Director Roger Lawson, Strategy Director Chris Norman, and PR Director Maggie Young.
Earlier this year the agency won major new accounts including Save the Children and Cancer Research UK Race for Life. Its client cancer charity AICR won the 2010 Institute of Fundraising Award for ‘Best Use of Legacy Fundraising’.
Roger Lawson, Strategy and Planning Director, who has been with the agency since it was established said: “Since joining us in January, Matthew has proved popular with both clients and staff. His vision and leadership, along with the strengthened leadership team will help us remain well placed to respond to our clients’ changing needs during this challenging and exciting time for the sector.”
