RSA donates £327,000 to Motability

Commercial insurer RSA has donated £327,000 to disability charity Mobility to fund heavily adapted wheelchair accessible vehicles for use at both its Mobility Solutions Centre and throughout the UK.
The donation has enabled Motability to purchase six special assessment vehicles complete with the latest high tech adaptations to ensure that customers have the right car for their needs, whether travelling as a passenger or driving the vehicle from a wheelchair.
RSA has a long established business relationship with Motability. Due to the nature of these specially adapted cars, insurance cover was not easily provided due to the complexity of every different vehicle. RSA therefore created a bespoke product for Motability, to ensure every customer can be insured by RSA.
