Funding the Future, the UK’s largest event bringing together statutory, Lottery and trust funders, will be held in London on 10 February.
The one-day event features 50 senior speakers, including eight Government Ministers and Shadow Minsters. They include the Chief Executives of the Big Lottery Fund, Arts Council England, Heritage Lottery Fund, The Social Investment Business, the Esmee Fairbairn Foundation, CAF, and the Dulverton Trust, together with representatives from a range of large and small grant-making trusts from BBC Children in Need and Comic Relief to the Shell Foundation and the Sainsbury Family Charitable Trusts.
Other speakers include Third Sector Minister, Angela Smith MP, and Shadow Third Sector Minister, Nick Hurd MP; Culture Minister, Margaret Hodge MP, and Shadow Culture Minister, Ed Vaizey MP; Shadow Children’s Minister, Tim Loughton MP, and Communities Minister, Barbara Follett MP.
The conference consists of a morning plenary session followed by a choice of seven specialised funding streams. These cover
1. health, disability and social care
2. community regeneration and fighting disadvantage
3. children and young people
4. arts and heritage
5. international development
6. the environment
7. faith-based projects
The event is organised by fundraising and strategy consultants, Action Planning, in association with ACEVO, the Big Lottery Fund, The Social Investment Business, CAF and Blackbaud.
The fee is £148, which includes VAT, lunch, a networking reception and all presentation materials.
