Better Ireland awards deadline extended

Howard Lake | 26 November 2009 | News

The AIB Better Ireland Programme application period has been extended to this Friday (November 27th).

Applications can be made online and the programme has been expanded to include all vulnerable children, such as those with physical, sensory and intellectual disabilities, those who are socially disadvantaged and children with terminal or chronic illness.

This year AIB will give €10,000 to each of its 182 local branches in the Irish Republic to be shared among their three shortlisted groups. Recipients will be chosen by a public text and online vote from a shortlist of causes in each area.
