WWF to undertake large donor development programme with Pure

Howard Lake | 3 September 2009 | News

Pure have been awarded the tender to handle WWF-UK’s upgrade & donor development work after successfully completing a rigorous pitch process for the charity.

The aim of the work is to fully engage current WWF-UK supporters via the telephone, with a view to uplifting values and maximising donor retention. This work will be undertaken as a very close partnership between the 2 organisations, incorporating a detailed strategic approach across a large variety of donor segments. Initially contacting approximately 75,000 supporters in a test phase, the work may then be rolled out should the new approach and strategy prove to be successful.

“We have chosen Pure primarily because our new upgrade and cross sell strategy requires an agency that we can work closely and flexibly with but who can also undertake large scale calling with the high level of donor care that our supporters expect to receive, all with the aim of achieving optimum results.”

Jon Eserin, Executive Director of Pure said

“We are delighted to have this opportunity to build upon our previous reactivation campaigns with WWF and look forward to working closely with them to maximise the potential of this new activity. Pure is totally committed to the highest quality of fundraising and are dedicated to exacting standards of service delivery, not least in these tough economic conditions.”
