Out and about in Bristol – Dinner4Good, and the Lloyds TSB Foundation for England & Wales

No, I haven’t been to the Banksy exhibition, but I have been to a meeting of Bristol fundraisers. There was a speaker from Dinner4Good, and another from the Lloyds TSB Foundation for England & Wales.

I was pleasantly surprised that the speaker from Dinner4Good was interesting. It operates a bit like justgiving, and facilitates the organisation of fundraising meals. Check out the website if you haven’t already done so. There is an option on the site for organisers of meals to disclose details of invitees to the charity for which they are raising funds. An interesting way of getting information on potential new supporters, I think.

The speaker from the Lloyds TSB Foundation told us that there was to be an announcement soon about a new “issue based programme”. If you work with young offenders, then monitor the website of the Lloyds TSB Foundation for England & Wales for details.
