Kate Higgins leaves Fundraising Standards Board

Kate Higgins today leaves the Fundraising Standards Board where she has worked as Scotland and Northern Ireland manager.
She will continue in the policy and campaigns sphere by becoming Policy Manager at Scotland’s Disabled Children, a campaign for better services for disabled children and young people.
She told UK Fundraising that she was sorry to be leaving just before the new FRSB Chief Executive takes up his post, but was delighted that he had already committed to visit Edinburgh and Belfast to meet with members and discuss future plans.
Office administrator Moira Paterson will continue to be the main contact for the FRSB in Scotland and Northern Ireland. She is available from Mondays to Wednesdays from midday to 5pm.
Colin Lloyd, Chairman of the FRSB, said: “The Board are grateful to Kate for her efforts in getting the scheme underway in Scotland and Northern Ireland. We wish her every success in the future.
“We would also like to take this opportunity to thank members in Scotland and Northern Ireland for your support, and to assure you that Alistair will make it a priority to continue to support the FRSB’s presence in Scotland and Northern Ireland.”
