Call for Scottish Conference 2009 presentation proposals

Institute of Fundraising Scottish Conference awards

The Institute of Fundraising Scotland is calling on fundraisers to submit their proposals for The Scottish Conference which takes place in November.
The organisers are looking for proposals for covering a broad range of topics, aimed at a delegate base with varied experience. This year the programme for the conference will again indicate the level of experience each session is aimed at, helping those who attend to decide which sessions are most relevant to them.
Institute of Fundraising Scotland Chair Mafe Marwick said: “The Scottish Conference stands out because it is principally experienced fundraisers talking to fundraisers with a good story to tell, an experience to share or research to disseminate.
“Clearly, active, experienced fundraisers will be able to provide us with compelling case studies and session proposals. We fully recognise that suppliers and consultants often have a range of experience and expertise that is hugely valuable – provided that it is not product specific but relevant and interesting.”
Submissions will be considered by the Institute of Fundraising’s Professional Development Committee, headed up by Pam Judson who has several years experience planning the Annual Conference.
Submissions should be emailed to the Committee at sc******@in**********************.uk before the end of 13 February 2009.
