Nominations sought for Children's Champions

The Post Office and the News of the World are seeking nominations for the people who do the most for children.
In partnership with childrens’s charity Barnardo’s, the Children’s Champion Awards offer a £5,000 prize for each category winner and £10,000 for the overall winner.
Categories include medical award (for health workers), schools award (“for someone who works tirelessly against all the odds to make your kids’ school life better”), sports award (for “inspirational people who dedicate their lives to helping young people in grassroots sport”), and the Post Office award for for Post Office employees.
The deadline for nominations is 2 February 2009.
