Francesco Ambrogetti has been appointed by not-for-profit consultancy and training provider
The Management Centre (‘=mc’) as Senior Fundraising Consultant. He will be responsible for the expansion of the agency’s services in international fundraising, coordinating its partners in Asia, Australasia, Latin America and the US to ensure a joined-up approach to fundraising for international NGO clients.
Ambrogetti has over 15 years international experience in strategic fundraising, managing and consulting for various charities, international organisations, World Bank and the EU.
He joins =mc from UNICEF, where he was Fundraising Manager for Latin America and Caribbean. During his time there he was instrumental in growing fundraising income by 40% and in establishing the Venture Philanthropic Fund for Children, which aims to raise US$250 million over the next five years.
Ambrogetti said of his appointment: “It’s a unique opportunity to innovate and cross-fertilise fundraising techniques internationally, whilst helping international NGOs tap into the most lucrative fundraising markets for their causes.”
