Google Chrome comic to be auctioned for charity

Howard Lake | 5 September 2008 | Blogs

At the centre of the hype in the run-up to the launch of Google’s new web browser Chrome was the distribution of a printed comic book explaining the product’s technical merits in an easy-to-understand manner.

Very few journalists received the comic book (although you can see an online version). One lucky journalist is exploiting this rarity value by auctioning his copy on eBay to benefit charity.

Duncan Riley at The Inquisitr will split the income between a charity chosen by nonprofits and social media expert Beth Kanter and Australian charity Beyond Blue.
