Princess Royal Trust for Carers chosen as charity of the year

Parking operator VINCI Park has chosen The Princess Royal Trust for Carers as its national Charity of the Year for 2008/09 following a staff vote. VINCI Park UK employs over 900 people as the UK arm of the international VINCI Park Group.
Mark Evans, CEO at VINCI Park UK, said: “Our staff selected The Princess Royal Trust for Carers from a number of strong contenders as representing the best fit with the aims of the company, offering a national reach while allowing our teams to interact on a scale where we can really make a difference”.
The Princess Royal Trust for Carers is now the largest provider of comprehensive carers’ support services in the UK. The Trust currently provides quality information, advice and support services to almost 310,000 carers, including over 15,500 young carers, through its unique network of 133 independently managed carers’ centres, 83 young carers’ services and interactive websites.
