CDF seeks organisations to manage Grassroots Grants programme locally

The Community Development Foundation (CDF) is seeking applications from organisations in England to manage the delivery of the £130 million Grassroots Grants programme in their area. The programme “aims to invest in a thriving community sector.”
The CDF is administering the programme on behalf of the Office of the Third Sector. Organisations selected as local funding providers will disburse the grants from July 2008-2011 which are designed to give access to small grants and long-term funding for local community groups and organisations in England.
The deadline for applications to become a local funder is 30 April 2008.
