Everyclick's viral campaign wins Adobe Website of the Day Award

Howard Lake | 3 January 2008 | News

The Christmas viral campaign to promote the new version of Everyclick.com’s website has been named the first Adobe Website of the Day for 2008. The ‘Santa Swing’ gave users the chance to upload a picture of themselves and personal audio messages to become a dancing Santa that can be sent to friends.
It helped promote the fact that the search engine that has raised over £360,000 for charity has launched a new version of its site that is designed to make “searching more effective and fundraising even easier”.
Adobe showcased the site from 26 December until 2 January 2008.
Everyclick.com users can now form fundraising groups that can track their combined donations to a charity, as well as offering live displays of the total funds raised for specific charities by users as a whole.
Site users now have a number of ways in which they can promote the site and their favourite charity: the ‘Spread the Word’ page enables them to send online invitations, link to social networking sites, and download search box widgets for the personal web pages and blogs.
