Royal Blind charity announces first draw winners

An East Lothian mechanic has won £7,000 in the Royal Blind’s first 50/50 Prize Draw. David Stokes took the first prize in the draw in which schools, clubs and organisations taking part received 50% of their takings i.e. for every £1 raffle ticket sold they got back 50p.
National charity Royal Blind’s Chief Executive, Richard Hellewell, said: “This is the first time we have undertaken a draw of this size and we are delighted with the response. We have sold over 11,000 tickets all over Scotland and would like to thank everyone who took part.”
Other prizes included a 32″ wide screen Sony TV and X Box Elite , and four Nintendo Wiis.
