The new charity legislation will have an impact on all organisations that raise funds or carry out charitable activities in the Republic of Ireland. Awareness and compliance will be important for all charitable bodies so that the new legislation will help charities in their work.

The roundtable on 6 December will include an overview of the Charities Bill which has recently passed Second Stage in the Dáil and is now proceeding to Committee Stage. Special guests will be Gerry Kearney, Secretary General, and Joe Hamill, Assistant Secretary General
Department of Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs, the sponsoring Department for the Charities Bill.
