Coca Cola extends application deadline

Coca Cola has announced that its Thank You Fund deadline has been extended until 20 July. The deadline was previously 6 July.

The deadline was apparently extended due to the increased level of applications from charities and community groups throughout Ireland. The total fund is worth €125,000.

In 2012, the Fund will award grants to selected organisations that are delivering initiatives under the theme ‘Supporting an Innovative Approach to the Promotion of Active Lifestyles in Irish Communities’.

One grant of €25,000 will be made to one organisation and 10 grants of €10,000 to a further 10 groups.

Coca-Cola is looking for new projects and ideas that capture the imagination and are providing significant benefits to a group of people or a broad community. Ideally, the project should be one that can be scaled and adopted by communities in other parts of the country.
