Two Christmas stars for sale

Argos is aiming to raise £70,000 this Christmas by selling glitter stars for its charity partner Leukaemia Research in its stores across Britain.

The stars are sparkly silver or festive red, and are offered for a suggested donation of £1 each.

The glitter stars are available in Argos stores across the UK and are part of the retailer’s fundraising activities for their charity partner, Leukaemia Research, the UK’s leading blood cancer charity.

Argos are aiming to raise £400,000 by July 2008 for Leukaemia Research for research into blood cancers including leukaemia, Hodgkin’s and other lymphomas and myeloma. As well as picking up the glitter stars, customers can also tick the box on their Argos order form and donate 20p.
