Amnesty launches winter 2007 raffle

Amnesty International UK has launched its winter 2007 raffle offering five prizes worth £5,500. The top prize is £3000.

Members over 16 have been sent books of 24 raffle tickets to sell at £1 each. Anyone who sells £24 worth of tickets or more is entered into a special extra draw the chance of winning a further £500 lump sum. The draw will be made on 7 December.

The Spring 2007 raffle raised £159,866, and the human rights organisation is hoping to raise £200,000 from the latest raffle. In the past six years Amnesty’s raffles have raised £2.3 million.
